Fieldwork Terms of Use

Effective: 2026-08-06 Provider: Trinity Fallow

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Fieldwork and its study content. By downloading, buying, or using the app, you agree to these Terms and the separate Subscription Terms and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

You must be at least 16 and legally able to agree to these Terms. Where local law requires consent from a parent or guardian, you may use the app only with that consent.

2. What the app provides

Fieldwork is an independent study tool for personal-trainer certification exams. It provides readings, recall prompts, flashcards, practice items, review scheduling, diagnostics, and simulated exams.

The app does not confer a credential, register you for an exam, or guarantee admission, eligibility, a passing score, employment, or any other result. Readiness displays report study evidence; they are not a prediction of exam performance.

3. Educational material only

The app is for exam preparation and general education. It is not medical, nutritional, fitness, legal, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for assessment or advice from a qualified professional. Do not use app content to diagnose, treat, or make safety-critical decisions for yourself or another person.

4. License

Subject to these Terms and the applicable store rules, Trinity Fallow grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app and its content on supported devices for your own study.

Except where applicable law expressly permits it, you may not copy, republish, sell, sublicense, scrape, bulk-extract, redistribute, modify, reverse engineer, bypass access controls, or create a competing content bank from the app or its content.

5. Exam integrity and acceptable use

You must not use the app to solicit, submit, store, distribute, or reconstruct recalled questions or other confidential material from a live certification exam. You must not use the app to violate an exam provider's candidate agreement, nondisclosure terms, intellectual-property rights, or applicable law.

You also must not interfere with the app, introduce malicious code, misuse purchase or restore systems, or attempt unauthorized access to paid content.

6. Content and corrections

We aim to provide source-linked and carefully reviewed material, but educational content can contain errors or become outdated. Source references let you consult the identified material directly. Report a suspected issue using the support channel provided in the app or at trinityfallow@gmail.com.

We may correct, replace, add, or remove content as sources and exam blueprints change. Do not rely on the app as your only source of current exam rules; confirm registration, eligibility, format, and policy information with the relevant certification body.

7. Free and paid access

The app includes a free study package. Optional auto-renewing subscriptions unlock additional content or features described at the time of purchase. Subscription billing, renewal, cancellation, restoration, and refunds are governed by the Subscription Terms and the store through which you purchased.

8. Privacy

The Privacy Policy at https://loldoly-byte.github.io/fieldwork-legal/privacy.html explains the app's local storage and any information handling. Do not send sensitive personal information or recalled exam questions through support channels.

9. Independence and trademarks

Fieldwork is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by, authorized by, or sponsored by any certification body named in the app. Certification-body names and marks belong to their respective owners and are referenced only to identify the exam the app is designed to support.

The app does not reproduce certifying-body logos and does not claim to be an official exam product. See the full non-affiliation notice provided with the app.

10. Third-party services and stores

Your use of the App Store or Google Play is also subject to that store's terms. The store processes purchases, manages subscriptions, and may provide platform services. We are not responsible for a store's separate service, account, device, or payment practices.

Third-party source links are provided for reference. We do not control or endorse the availability, security, or full content of external sites.

11. Availability and changes

We may update the app, supported operating systems, content, or features. We may suspend or discontinue all or part of the app where reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and any store obligations. Offline functionality may still depend on a supported device, valid installation, and locally available content.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app and its content are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise that every item will be error-free, current, uninterrupted, or suitable for your particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Trinity Fallow will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from your use of or inability to use the app. Any limitation must be read subject to mandatory consumer rights and any liability that law does not permit us to limit.

Counsel placeholder: Insert any appropriate direct-liability cap only after the operator, governing law, storefronts, and consumer-law treatment are confirmed.

14. Ending use

You may stop using and uninstall the app at any time. Uninstalling does not itself cancel a subscription; use the subscription-management controls in the store where you bought it. We may terminate the license if you materially breach these Terms, subject to applicable law.

15. Governing law and consumer rights

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer resident in another country, you also have the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the law of that country, and you may bring proceedings there.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory rights or remedies available to you under the law of your place of residence.

16. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms. The current version will show its effective date, and we will provide any notice required by law. Questions may be sent to trinityfallow@gmail.com or 51 Telok Kurau.
