Required placement
- Put the short notice in the Apple and Google long descriptions immediately after the
feature copy, not behind a website link.
- Keep the full notice persistently reachable from Settings and About.
- Include the full notice in the Terms of Use or linked legal page.
- Show an independence statement near any in-app exam selector where a certification
body name could otherwise imply a relationship.
- Do not put a certification-body name in the app name, subtitle, icon, developer name,
or feature graphic. Use it only where needed to describe supported exam content.
Visual and copy guardrails
- No certification-body logos, wordmarks, seals, badges, or copied icon shapes.
- No certification-body palette, typography, layout system, or other trade-dress mimicry.
- Never use “official,” “approved,” “authorized,” “partner,” “endorsed,” or “sponsored”
except in the negative disclaimer.
- Do not use proprietary model names such as “OPT” in the app name, icon, or branding.
- Do not imply that buying or completing the app grants certification or exam entry.
- Use original screenshots and artwork only; third-party citations should appear as
plain source text, not publisher or certifier logos.
